Vikings Rugby Anniversaries Aplenty!

 

Over the past several years we have celebrated several significant milestones in our Club’s history, leading into our annual Hagar’s Day.

 

Some of the notable anniversaries include:

 

1979 – in 2019, 40 year anniversary since the opening of our Licensed Club premises at Erindale

1979 –  in 2019, 40 year anniversary of the birth of our Junior Club

1989 – in 2019, 30 year anniversary of 1st and 2nd Grades first ever momentous victory over arch-rival Royals

1994 – in 2019, 25 year anniversary of our first ever 1st Grade premiership

1999 – in 2019, 20 years since 1st grade completed a three-peat of premiership wins

2004 – in 2019, 15 years since our grand final victory over Gungahlin

2009 – in 2019, 10 years since our grand final victory over Queanbeyan

 

As always Hagars provides an opportunity for all past and present players to come together to celebrate our rich history, with the event typically spanning an entire weekend with multiple activities planned.

 

Every Hagar’s Day, we aim to celebrate significant milestones from our Club’s past, to honour the contribution of those who have come before us have made to the fabric of our Club.
