Dr Peter Cole

Dr Peter Cole moved to Canberra in 2011. He graduated from Nottingham University in the UK in 1999 before completing his postgraduate GP training in 2006. He moved here with his wife Katie who grew up in Canberra and he has 2 children Alex and Josie.

 

Peter enjoyed several years playing rugby into his mid 20’s before retiring from the front row where he spent many a season playing Hooker. He played much of his rugby for Nottingham Medical School and his home town of Stourbridge. These days he tries to keep fit by running, cycling and playing tennis.

 

Combining his love of sport with work is an ideal combination hence his decision to do further post graduate training in Sports Medicine. Whilst enjoying his life as a GP he has also really enjoyed working as a Sports Doctor learning how to manage the whole variety of sports injuries. Prior to starting work with the Vikings Peter has also had an association with the Queanbeyan Tigers AFL club and the Brumbies development squads.

 

When not working as a GP or Sports Doctor, Peter can also be found assisting some of the Canberra orthopedic surgeons in theater. Jayden Hunter B.Physio.(Hons)

Jayden is passionate about helping people to return to an active, pain-free lifestyle. His professional interests include managing sporting and musculoskeletal injuries – particularly low back pain, hip pain and tendon injury- as well as dry needling, and strength training. Jayden has worked with the following organisations:

• 2021- Present: Head Physiotherapist Tuggeranong Vikings Rugby Union
• 2020-2021: Assisted Brumbies Senior Men Rugby Union
• 2021: Coverage Canberra Football National Premier League

Outside of work and Vikings, Jayden enjoys staying active himself through basketball and gym work, or travelling to the coast and his hometown of Port Macquarie.
