Cameron Holt celebrates his 100th game

Cameron Holt celebrates his 100th game for the Redmen this weekend v Gungahlin. ‘Holty’ began his journey with Vikings in juniors and has progressed through the club from juniors, U18’s, colts, grade and has the honour this weekend of playing his 100th game for the club as 1st grade captain. The 2022 Vikings Player Of the Year, he is as tough as teak, you would be hard pressed to find anyone in our history who has played a tougher 100 games.

A ferocious competitor, he is known for never giving an inch and for his tactical nous in the technical parts of the game, something he has especially committed himself to in recent years. He is the epitome of our mantra of ‘Club, Team, Me’. In addition to his on field presence and leadership, Holty also a large part in mentoring others off it – regularly giving his time over the years in various off field programs and for always facilitating extra sessions with younger players, new players and his team mates.
