Generation Red is a new program for our U16-U18 Boys and Girls.
In collaboration with the Vikings Senior Club, Generation Red will provide elite coaching support, training and development opportunities to the next generation of Vikings Senior players. All trainings will be held at Viking Park.
All U16-U18 Vikings Boys and Girls are eligible for the Generation Red program, which includes kit provision, Brumbies Rugby membership, insurance and a full reimbursement of your registration fees*.

*full registration must be paid upfront on the Rugby Xplorer App by the parent/guardian. The Vikings Senior Club will reimburse your child’s registration fees in two increments during the Junior Rugby season.

REGISTRATION
Please note that all participants will be required to be registered in order to participate in training. Registrations will cost $150.00 for the season. This can be either registered for ‘Training Only” or full registration. See attachment “How to Register”. Should you register for ‘Training Only” this will cost $20.00 and will be deducted from full registration costs. Once the season is confirmed you can update your registration status to full registration.
For Generation Red Players, your registration will be reimbursed in two payments during the season, to be confirmed once season dates are locked in. Players/parents will be reimbursed 50% of their registration in the middle of the season and 50% at the conclusion of the season. Reimbursements will be based on a 70% attendance at training /games from the commencement of the season or from when registrations are paid if after season start.
All players will receive playing shorts and socks as well as a Gen Red training shirt. In addition, all Gen Red players will receive specialized coaching support from Vikings Senior players in addition to their team Head Coaches and train at Vikings Park.
COVID SAFE RUGBY TRAINING
All Gen Red training sessions will be conducted in accordance with protocols and procedures outlined by Rugby Australia and the AIS. These guidelines are outlined in the “Return To Play Framework for Community Rugby”. A general summary of the requirements to train are attached – “Return To Play Guidelines”
Further specific information in regards to protocols and procedures required of all training participants and a list of Covid Safe compliance measures to be undertaken at the training venue will be forwarded to all participants prior to training commencement.
