Richard Joyes Plays 200th Game for Vikings

On Saturday the 31st of July, on Hagar’s Day no less, Richard Joyes played his 200th game for the Club.

Joyesy joined the Vikings in 2005 after crossing the ditch. Since then, he has been involved in numerous premierships across the Grades, collected Player Clubman of the Year in 2018, and is a future 2nd Grade Hall of Famer, having won the 2nd Grade Best & Fairest award three times. How fitting that he lined up for the Dirty Two’s!

Despite his on-field achievements, Joyesy is as great a mate as any you are likely to find. A tough player, whose passion for Rugby is unmatched, the privilege is ours that we have someone of Joyesy’s caliber play 200 games for our Club.

Congratulations Joyesy, well played.
