Andrew Robinson Reaches 100 Games

Andrew Robinson Reaches 100 Games

On Saturday against the Uni-North Owls, Andrew Robinson played his 100th game for the Club.
Robbo is a one-club-player, having played his Rugby right through our Junior Vikings into the Senior Club. He had an earlier start to senior Rugby than most – given his superb talents as a player, Robbo was given exemption to play in 2nd Grade and 1st Grade from the age of 17.
Robbo has gone from success to success since – he represented the Australian Schoolboys and U20s side, won the Vikings Player of the Year in 2016, has several caps for the Canberra Vikings, played for the Brumbies during a match in Singapore; the list goes on. Robbo has an impressive Rugby resume, fitting for someone of his talents.
Saturday marked a very important milestone in Robbo’s service to our Club. A 1st Grade captain, natural leader and all round good guy, Robbo’s 100th game caps off an impressive, resilient career with the Vikings. Given his impressive representative career and some unfortunate injuries, 100 games for Andrew Robinson is as true a testament to Club loyalty as any we are likely to see again. And for that, Robbo is thoroughly deserving of this milestone.
Congratulations mate, we hope you enjoyed every minute of it.
