21 Jan Rego Deal for 3rd, 4th Grade & ViQueens!
This season, one of the Club’s initiatives is a focus on recruiting 3rd Grade, 4th Grade and ViQueens players.
Our Thirsty Thirds and 4th Grade sides have had tremendous success over the past decade. Having won several premierships, and numerous players graduating to Premier Grade honours, the Vikings 3rd & 4th Grade sides combine the perfect balance of competitive Rugby with social fulfilment. While the social aspects of these grades of Rugby are paramount, players are still provided the opportunity to improve their skillset with our expert coaches and push for premiership glory. Most of the current crop of 3s/4s players are some of the best blokes at the Club, who welcome the chance to meet new players.
The ViQueens are a side on the brink of dominance. In 2020, the ViQueens team featured three Australian Wallaroos, seven Brumbies Super W players, the ACT Women’s Player of the Year and the Super W Australian Player of the Year. The team features some young guns with a lot of flair, supported by a cast of older girls who are as good as coaches. Aside from their success on the field, the group are a tight knit one off-field, that welcome new comers with open arms regardless of their previous Rugby experience. We provide our women’s players with the opportunity to press for representative honours with expert coaching, as well as enjoy the social elements that make Rugby so great.
To support our recruitment, we are offering:
- All 3rd and 4th Grade players $100 reimbursement on their registration fees*.
- New-to-the-club ViQueens players (those who did not play Rugby in 2020) a full reimbursement of their registration*.
- Any existing ViQueens players who bring a new player to the Club, both the existing ViQueen and new player will receive 50% of their registration reimbursed*.
Vikings and ViQueen registered players receive elite coaching support, playing and off-field kit, invites to all of our social functions and the opportunity to be involved with one of the most successful Rugby Club’s of the past decade.
