Vikings Rugby are proud to present the 2021 Annual Sport’s Luncheon, at Vikings Lanyon on the 16th of July. The Sport’s Luncheon is the highlight of our events calendar, providing an opportunity for everyone in our community to connect for a great spread of food, drinks, fun and a laugh. The Sport’s Luncheon recognises everyone in our Vikings family, from our Sponsors, support staff, players and fans, and the impact they have had on our success in 2021. We have had several distinguished Guest Speakers at our Luncheon in the past, and this year is no different. In 2021, we will be joined by:
Steven Bradbury – Gliding over the finish line at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games saw Steven Bradbury’s name etched into the history books. Steven Bradbury is one of the world’s most recognisable & colourful Olympic champions, with an impressive career as an athlete that has been driven by determination, sacrifice and most importantly a will to succeed. The Bradbury story is one of the true Aussie battler who overcomes much adversity to achieve the ultimate goal. Steven joins us as a guest speaker at this year’s Sport’s Luncheon.
Tim Horan – Tim Horan played for the Queensland Reds in the Super 12 and represented Australia as one of the best centres in the world throughout the 1990s. Tim has an accomplished career as a professional Rugby player, having been apart of the Wallabies 1991 and 1999 World Cup victories, including being named the Player of the Tournament at the 1999 World Cup. Tim joins us as a guest speaker and our MC at this year’s Sport’s Luncheon.
Vikings Rugby Brumbies Panel – the strength of our Club lies in our ability to provide outstanding players the opportunity to play Rugby at the highest level. We will be joined by current Brumbies at our Sport’s Luncheon and have them share their experiences representing the ACT, as well as their time as a Viking.
We will be hosting a raffle on the day, a silent auction with some great items and a live auction.

Where: Vikings Lanyon; Heidelberg St, Conder ACT
What: Two course meal, open bar and entertainment.
Dress Code: Smart Casual
Price & RSVP: $100 per ticket; $900 for a table. RSVP due by Thursday the 8th of July.
