Employment opportunity – Rugby Administration Manager

Tuggeranong Vikings Rugby Union are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join the full-time staff as the Rugby Admin Manager and contribute to the success of the Vikings Rugby club’s programs.

About the Role

Reporting overall to the club committee and directly to the club Coaching Director, the role is responsible for the day to day administrative operations of the rugby club. The position includes key responsibilities across:

  • General administration
  • Financial management
  • Management of sponsorship programs
  • Representation and liaison to broad stakeholder groups
  • Major events – planning & execution
  • Player and volunteer pastoral care
  • Media and communication management
  • Administration of club property, equipment and merchandise

 

The position if full-time under an offer of contract for a minimum of two years and includes a generous remuneration package in line with the responsibilities of the position.

Mandatory

The preferred candidate will have demonstrated success in sports administration, stakeholder relationship, event management and outstanding communication and IT skills.

Desirable

Experience in a rugby operations environment is desired but not essential.
